I discovered a lot researching this article but what I learned the most is that guys are much various then Ford guys. Daugherty Chevrolet truck owners have a tendency to have a lot of pride when it comes to their trucks (possibly that is because so many come from Texas). Anyhow with this in mind they are extremely cautious when choosing accessories. So with all of this in mind we have narrowed down what we really feel are the top 5 Chevy truck accessories.
Accessory #1 – Louvered flow via tailgate. I was type of surprised at how common a flow by means of louvered tailgate actually is. It appears that guys are concerned about gas mileage as significantly as something? Nah I believe they just like the looks of the tailgate on a Chevy. Accessory # 2 – Putco chrome trim. I agree this simple to install addition does truly assist the looks of the truck. We are speaking about the Putco Chrome trim accessories such as door manage trim, mirror covers latch covers and even the cool third brake addition. Just be sure to clean every thing with alcohol initial prior to installing.
Accessory # 3 – Aggressive wheels and tires. Mike Daugherty Chevrolet guys are not bling oriented guys from what I see. These guys are searching for some thing that makes their trucks look a lot more like a truck and much less like an oversized pimped out vehicle so generally they stick to close to stock sizes most generally becoming 17 inch rims. From what I see some of the well-liked rims include Mickey Thompson and American Racing. The design of the wheels is generally easy but aggressive and many occasions is polished aluminum instead of chrome.
Accessory # 4 – Leveling Kits. Just a note on front bumpers guys they can be adjusted forward to aid accommodate a slightly lager tire. A little various then Ford owners who lean toward the louvered appear, owners lean toward the chrome grills such as the Putco grill. These grills usually have round holes and truly add to the other chrome that these guys add to their trucks. Those are my top 5 Chevy truck accessories I see becoming sold. Each individual is different but based on my observations the above accessories are extremely well-liked amongst Chevy owners. Watch for my post coming soon on Extreme Chevy truck accessories.
