Bonita Springs luxury car customers will be impressed with 2011 Cadillac CTS V-Coupe
It’s a Cadillac for crying out loud. What’s not to be impressed? But this is not your stereotypical Cadillac – it’s the CTS V-Coupe and it is styled and outfitted to wow. Bonita Springs luxury car buyers will be wowed! It’s like nothing else you will see on the road.
Looking modern and classic all at once on the outside due to a slightly retro deck lid and revealing even better things to come on the inside, the 2011 Cadillac CTS V-Coupe lures you with top-stitched leather and piano-wood trim – utter elegance. With a base price of $68,990 it’s not out of range for the typical Cadillac owner.
But how does it drive, you ask? Wonderfully. The Corvette ZR-1 engine makes this a true sports car and it even comes with a traction control switch on the steering wheel, which can be turned to “competition” mode for a real thrill ride. The throttle is sensitive, but not overly and the brakes are ultra-responsive without being touchy or jerky.
The 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with rear-wheel drive comes in a six-speed manual and will not be confused with a tame sedan. It also won’t be confused with a hybrid, as the fuel economy is about 14 mpg, but you’re not buying it because of those numbers – it’s the engine numbers that will close the deal. Naples used luxury car customers will fall in love with this coupe.
Even in running mode you will get a smooth ride and you won’t be plagued by excessive noise either. The electronic door latches are another matter. A futuristic idea which gives the car a futuristic look, but any type of electronic failure means you have to resort to the manual opener – not so suave. Still, they look amazing.
It seems unanimous among testers, though, that the power is incredible, but the ride is so fine that you don’t notice the speed. That’s good for those who want a smooth ride but may be a slight disappointment for those who have the true need for speed. It’s very unusual that you find fluid power like this and GM has done well in achieving it. Your Bonita Springs luxury car dealer anticipates the CTS V-Coupe will be very popular.
This is a larger, heavier version of a coupe, so it can’t be expected to fly down the road like a featherweight. The only word of caution with this coupe is watch the speedometer. You could easily be heading toward triple digits and not even realize it. Naples used luxury car buyers should use the cruise control.
Several fun and high-tech options are available as are some comfort and performance enhancing features. Try the Recaro heated and cooled sport performance seats for an additional $3,400 or the suede rim steering wheel and shift knob for $300. Want your coupe to be even more unique? Opt for the thunder gray chromaflair paint job for $995.
